I'm Elliott Callahan. I'm an anesthesiologist with specialty training in care of obstetric patients. I completed a clinical fellowship in obstetric anesthesiology at UCSF (where I also completed medical school and residency). I have a BA in Linguistics from UC Santa Cruz and I did my post-bacc work at UC Berkeley Extension.
In my spare time, I dabble in folk guitar, birding, web design, art, and kitchen experimentation (i.e. cooking). I am also a language enthusiast: I studied French, speak some Spanish, and am interested in Arabic and St'át'imcets. As a former ESL and English grammar instructor, I am also interested in the history and grammar of English.
I currently reside in Oakland, CA.
